Data Source
All soil data on SoilByCounty comes from the USDA SSURGO (Soil Survey Geographic) Database maintained by the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). Data includes soil pH, texture, drainage class, organic matter, and hydrologic group by county. For questions about the underlying data, visit USDA NRCS.
